Rental Terms and Conditions

This page explains general rental expectations in plain English. Specific rentals may still be subject to a separate written rental agreement.

Tampa Bay Coverage

Rental Requests And Confirmation

Submitting an online request does not guarantee equipment availability or create a confirmed rental reservation. A rental is not confirmed until Tampa Bay Equipment Rental reviews the request and confirms the rental details.

Tampa Bay Equipment Rental may contact the customer to confirm equipment, timing, pickup or delivery details, jobsite conditions, and approval requirements before a rental is finalized.

A rental may require identification, deposit, payment method, signed agreement, and additional approval.

Rental Periods

Rental periods may be daily, weekly, monthly, weekend, hourly, minimum-based, or otherwise structured depending on the item. The rental period starts and ends based on the confirmed agreement. Late returns may result in additional charges.

Rates And Additional Charges

Listed rates do not include damage waiver, taxes, delivery, fuel, deposits, environmental fees, or other applicable charges. Rates and availability are subject to change. Contact Tampa Bay Equipment Rental to confirm current pricing, availability, and final rental details.

Additional charges may include damage waiver, taxes, delivery, fuel, cleaning, environmental fees, deposits, late fees, loss or damage charges, excess use charges, pickup or return delays, tire or track issues where applicable, attachment issues, or missing accessories.

Customer Responsibility For Equipment

Customers are generally responsible for equipment while it is in their possession or control, including loss, theft, damage, misuse, abuse, negligence, unauthorized use, unsafe operation, or failure to return equipment as required.

Safe Use

Customers are responsible for using rented equipment safely, properly, and in accordance with applicable laws, jobsite requirements, manufacturer instructions, and any rental agreement terms.

Customers should use proper protective equipment, keep unauthorized users away, and stop using equipment if it appears unsafe or malfunctioning. Contact Tampa Bay Equipment Rental promptly if there is a concern.

Equipment Condition

Customers should inspect equipment at pickup or delivery and report concerns promptly. Equipment should be returned in substantially the same condition, ordinary wear excepted.

Fuel, Cleaning, And Accessories

Equipment should be returned with required fuel levels if applicable. Cleaning charges may apply if equipment is returned excessively dirty. Attachments, keys, chargers, cables, hoses, manuals, and other accessories should be returned with the equipment.

Pickup And Delivery

See the Delivery and Pickup Policy for general information about scheduling, access conditions, and related delivery considerations.

Cancellation And Refunds

See the Refund and Cancellation Policy for general information about cancellations, deposits, early returns, and refund review.

Damage Waiver

See the Damage Waiver page for a plain-language overview. Actual waiver terms, limitations, and exclusions are controlled by the rental agreement.

Final Rental Agreement Controls

If there is a conflict between this website page and a signed rental agreement, the signed rental agreement controls to the extent permitted by law.
